Built by people who love senior pets.
This event was created by two founders who care about senior pets from opposite sides of the exam table. A pet parent who lost his dog and built something from it. A veterinarian who made senior pets her life's work.

Why this exists
Senior pets deserve more.
There is no shortage of veterinary conferences or pet wellness content. But there is almost nothing built specifically for the experience of loving an aging pet, and nothing that puts pet parents and veterinarians in the same room to figure it out together. Senior Pet Con changes that: two days, two audiences, one mission, for pets at their most vulnerable and most valuable stage of life at exactly the same time.
Real education about what aging looks like, honest conversations about pain management and end-of-life, and the kind of grief support that doesn't rush you through the hard parts.
RACE-approved continuing education built around geriatric care, practical tools for better client communication, and a professional community that takes senior pets as seriously as you do.
This conference is the result of a friendship built on shared purpose. A pet parent and a veterinarian who both decided the status quo wasn't good enough.
Who's behind this
Meet the founders.
Two people. Opposite sides of the exam table. The same belief that senior pets deserve everything we can give them.

Adam Greenbaum
Adam built a company that helped over 10,000 veterinary clinics grow, spending years learning how clinics work, what teams carry, and how hard they fight for the families they serve.
"And then it was my turn."
When Baxter declined, Adam learned you can be capable and experienced and still feel lost when you love your pet like family. Love, Baxter is his commitment to building the world's most helpful resource for pet end-of-life, senior pet care, euthanasia support, aftercare, and grief. Not as a brand story. As a real response to a loss that changed his family.

Dr. Monica Tarantino, DVM
A veterinarian with ten years of experience and former Chief of Staff of a busy Charlotte practice, Dr. Tarantino co-founded SDVS to enhance the care of senior and geriatric dogs.
"Senior dogs deserve to be seen — not written off."
Through @seniordogdoc and the Senior Dog Revolution, she's changing how the world perceives senior dogs. She co-authored two books for new veterinarians, and shares her home with four rescue dogs and two rescue cats, with the occasional foster for good measure.
Two brands. One shared mission.
